A Study on the Relationship between Literature and Psychology Inspired by Western Fairy Tales

论述了神话故事对心理学发展的三方面影响,即心理学家以神话人物为某些心理现象命名;心理学家用神话故事来论证某一心理现象和从神话故事中获得灵感来创造性地做出大胆的假设;以及文学与心理学的关系。

This paper discusses about the influence of mythological stories on the development of psychology from three aspects.The first is psychologists' use of mythological characters to name certain psychological phenomena. The second is psychologists use of mythological stories to demonstrate a certain psychological phenomenon and to obtain inspiration from mythological stories to make bold assumptions creatively. The third is the relationship between literature and psychology.
