This paper analyses the influencing factors of economic growth in Bayannur on the basis of the theory of sustainable development, and puts forward suggestions for industrial development according to local characteristics and advantages, for example, lengthening the industrial chains through deep processing of agricultural and livestock products to increase the added value of products and to promote economic development;developing the tourist industry through excavating Hetao culture and Yinshan rock arts to promote the development of related industries.
