A Contrastive Study of Ditransitive Construction between English and Chinese

双及物结构(VNN)就是动词带有两个名词的结构,英语和汉语中都有这样的结构。对比英语汉语双及物结构(VNN)的异同,并从民族心理和语法化过程的角度对可能造成其差异的原因进行了探讨。

Semantically,two nouns must be present with a verb in a ditransitive construction,which can be found in both English and Chinese.Here in this present paper,we conduct a preliminary research on the differences and similarities of ditransitive construction between English and Chinese,as well as some possible reasons from the perspective of national mentality and the process of its grammaticalization.
