摘要
变异是违背常规的一种表达方式,其目的在于"突出",达到陌生化的语用效果。词汇变异是英语语言变异的形式之一,它常被用于文学、广告、新闻等语篇。文章从添加词缀、合成、谐音、词类转换、偶有语义、借用外来语等几个层面来探讨词汇变异的表现形式及其语用效果。
Deviation is the language phenomenon against normal way of use or conventional language practice.Its purpose is to create foregrounding and achieve special effects.Lexical deviation is one of the important forms of linguistic deviation.Often used in literature,advertisements and news report.This paper attempts to explore into lexical deviation and its rhetorical effect from the following aspects:affixation,compounding,partial tone,conversion,nonce meaning,and loanwords.
