On the Enlightenment of the Fuzzy Linguistic Theory on Communicative Competence of Spoken English

语言的模糊性是自然语言本身的一种本质属性。语言的所有层面从语音、词语、句子到语法都存在着模糊性。分析了目前英语口语表达的现状,阐述了模糊语言在日常交际中的重要作用,倡导将模糊化的思维运用于口头表达中,以期提高英语口语交际能力。

Fuzziness is one of the intrinsic features of natural language.There exists fuzziness in all the aspects of a language,from pronunciation,vocabulary and sentence to grammar.This paper offers an analysis of the present situation of oral expression by English and an elaboration of the important role fuzzy language plays in the daily communication.Propositions are made to apply fuzzy thinking in oral expression,aiming to improve the communicative competence of spoken English.
