A Tentative Account of Spinoza's View of Nation

斯宾诺莎从自然权利出发,阐述了国家的产生。他认为国家就是指坚实地建立在法律上和自我保存的力量上面的社会。国家主要有三种类型,即君主政体、贵族政体和民主政体。国家的目的在于生活的和平与安全,因此,凡是生活和睦、治安良好的国家就是理想的国家。在这种国家中,人们享有绝对的思想自由、限制的言论自由,但是没有行动的自由。

Spinoza considered the found of the nation from natural rights.He argued that the nation is the society,which is based on the law and ego-keeping power.There are three kinds of nations:sovereign,aristocratic and democratic systems of government.The peace and the safe are aims of the nation and it is ideal nation for people's life harmony and public order.In the nation people enjoyed absolutely freedom of ideals and limited freedom of speech but people had no free actions.
