建设性后现代主义明确提出要超越消费主义,批判蕴于现代性中的消费主义。建设性后现代主义认为消费主义使自然"祛魅",导致人的异化,并且使发展方式不合理。提出只有人类必须在价值观上颠覆由个人主义导致的人类中心主义,同时还认为必须实行"稳态经济"的增长模式。
