A thought on the Reform of School PE in the 21st Century

我国近百年学校体育教学历史的演变,虽然形成了一定的体育思想和教学方法,但与21世纪人类社会的发展,人才的竞争,社会实际的需要在教育思想、教学内容与方法等方面有一定的距离,尽快完善适应新时期的体育教学改革迫在眉睫。

Making primary research on China's school physical education by means of documentation and other methods, the author draws a conclusion that, in spite of some positive achievements in the history of China's school physical education in the last one hundred years, there is still a certain gap between social demands and our educational thoughts, teaching aims and methods, therefore, it is urgent to perfect the physical education teaching so as to be accommodated to the new requirements.
