Thought of Industrial Science and Technology of Mr SUN Zhong-shan

孙中山的《实业计划》包含了丰富的工业科技思想,他认为,科学技术是近代工业建立和发展的基础。中国工业发展的途径有三:一是在工业生产环节广泛使用机器,以提高生产效率;二是吸收西方国家先进的科技成果,积极发展中国自己的机器制造工业;三是建立现代能源体系,发展火力发电厂,并利用丰富的水力资源大力进行水力发电。这些思想对发展中国的现代科技仍具有重大的现实意义。

Mr Sun Zhongshan believed that the establishment and development of modern Industry were founded on science and technology. He thought there were three approaches to develop Chinese industry. Firstly, widely utilizing machines in the process of manufacture in order to improve efficiency. Secondly, absorbing advanced scientific achievement of western countries in order to develop the machinebuilding industry of our own. Thirdly, establishing a modern energyresources system with included power stations and water stations.
