A Study on GU Wei-jun's Diplomacy of the League of Nations in 1930's

顾维钧是民国时期著名的职业外交家和国际政治家,亦是人类追求和平与秩序、公理与正义的代表。其国联外交思想之发生、发展及其具体运作与现代国际政治的基本走势密切相关,但却难以因应三十年代中国国内特定的政治环境,故遭到时人乃至后人的强烈批评。本文将对之进行重新审视,以作出符合客观实际的估价。

Gu Weijun was a wellknown professional diplomatist and international politician in the Republican period, a typical representative figure to seek the peace and the order , the axiom and the right.This essay attempts to explore the development and the concrete operating process of Gu's diplomatic ideology of the League of Nations,especially in 1930's, and tries to make a corresponding evaluation as a reference for the effective operation of contemporary diplomacy.
