The Formation of Early Romantic Thought of Writers Studying in Japan

五四时期以留日作家为主体所倡导的浪漫主义文学是当时新文学运动的一面旗帜。他们在留日期间所接触的西欧哲学思想以及经过"日本化"了的各种思潮与流派,与日本近代作家的交往,对他们思想的形成、文学理念的建构产生了巨大的影响,因而,在一定程度上都带有日本浪漫主义的印迹。进一步加深了解留日作家早期浪漫主义思想的形成过程,对于全面评价浪漫主义思潮在中国近代文学中的地位、作用和价值有着积极的意义。

The romantic literature advocated by writers studying in Japan was a new stream of new literature activity in the May 4th period. In the period of studying in Japan, writers got to know western philosophic thought and various schools of Japanese culture. Direct and indirect influence from Japanese writers made great contribution to the formation of their human thought and literature concept. Japanese romantic influence can be found to certain extent in those writers. To have a better understanding of the formation process of romantic thought of the writers studying in Japan is of active significance to the overall evaluation of the status, effect and value of romantic thought in recent Chinese literature.
