介绍了加拿大Chemetics工程公司 2 0世纪 80年代建设的一套 10 89t/d硫磺制酸装置的主要特点 ,重点阐述利用该装置的主要设备改造成生产能力为 12 0 0t/d ,总转化率大于 99.8%,同时副产 45 0℃中压过热蒸汽的硫酸装置 ,并使整个装置性能更佳 ,更符合现代制酸工艺的发展。

The major features of a 1 089 t/d sulphur-burning sulphuric acid plant fabricated in 1980 s by Chemetics Corporation, Canada are introduced. Discussion are mainly focused on retrofitting the plant to a new sulphur acid plant by utilizing its major equipment.It will have a production capacity of 1 200 t/d and an overall conversion of more than 99.8%, and can provide byproduct superheated steam at medium pressure and 450 ℃ simultaneously. With the better performance, the new plant is more concordant with the development of modern sulphuric acid technology.
