浅谈高校艺术生的翻译教学

A Study on the Translation Teaching of College Art Majors

作为翻译理论和翻译实践的重要部分,翻译教学已经在高校的英语教学中广泛的开展起来。但是教师更多的是关注于英语专业或者翻译专业的翻译教学,往往忽视了公共英语中的翻译教学,特别是高校艺术专业的学生。他们往往性格活泼外向,但是英语的基础比非艺术专业的学生薄弱的多,这是一批特殊的群体。高校艺术生在英语的学习过程中往往自信心不足,而且高校对他们的英语教学重视程度也不高,这便要求我们要好好的思考。该文对高校艺术生的翻译教学进行研究,探寻翻译教学对提高高校艺术生英语水平和活跃课堂的气氛所起到的积极作用。

As the important part of translation theory and translation practice, translation teaching has been widely carried out in the college English teaching. However, teachers focus more on the translation teaching of English-majors or translation-majors, ignoring the non-English-majors, especially the art majors, who have vivacious and extraverted personality. Compared with non-art-majors, they are the special group with poor English and insufficient confidence. What's more, college did not take their English teaching seriously. Consid ering all above, this essay does a study on the translation teaching of college art-majors, exploring the role that the translation teaching plays in enhancing their English level and vivifying the classroom atmosphere.
