It is so disappointed that at present, the students' listening ability is extremely poor, especially that of the middle school students in rural area. There are plenty of factors that cause this problem, among which there are three major reasons. They are the insufficient equipment in the school, the lacking of interest of the students and the difficulty in the listening study.
