The paper tries to make a comparative study on two Chinese editions of Charlotte's Web under the direction of Horizon of Ex pectations. With the target readers' different reactions on the two translations, the paper wants to find out the theory's influence and en lightenment on the children's literature translation. The paper also hopes to arouse the attention of Chinese researchers on the marginal area to promote the development of Children's literature translation.
