英语本科生毕业论文写作中突出原创性的困难所在及相应教学对策(英文)

Investigating the Difficulties of the Undergraduate English Majors Highlighting Originality in Their Degree Paper and the Possi ble Solutions

教育部颁发的高校英语专业本科教学大纲中要求将原创性纳入考量学生毕业论文质量的重要依据,因此,学生在毕业论文中强调原创性非常必要。然而,大部分英语专业毕业生,包括很多语言能力较强的学生都认为在毕业论文中强调原创性很困难。为探究学生在强调原创性方面的困难之处以及产生这些困难的原因,对学生和指导教师进行了半结构式访谈。为解决这些困难,必须给学生提供相关的学术文化教育。

Originality is required in undergraduate English majors' degree paper writing according to the Curriculum edited by Ministry of Education.Therefore,highlighting originality is essential in degree paper writing.However,most student writers,including those linguisti cally proficient students find it difficult to highlight originality.Semi-structured interviews with students and their supervisors have been conducted to investigate the difficulties as well as the causes.Relevant academic literacy education has been advocated to provide to the stu dents.
