摘要
在中西方翻译史上,均出现过影响深远的"三原则"翻译理论。其一由泰特勒(A.F.Tytler)于1790提出,其二则出现在1898年严复《天演论》卷首《译例言》中。这两条翻译理论在中西翻译界中引起的反响更是不容小觑。文章旨在分析两条原则之间的异同之处,以及导致差异的深层因素,进而对本土翻译理论的发展提出建议和意见。
This paper compares A.F.Tytler's three principles with Yan Fu's three-principle criteria by analyzing their similarities and differences,exploring not only the differences between them but also the deep reasons for the differences,and tries to find out the trend of the development of Chinese translation theories through the comparison.
