Context and College English Teaching

当前,大学英语教学中,普遍存在着学生运用英语进行交际能力不足的问题。通过参考大量文献资料,以及对实际教学工作经验的总结后,认为在大学英语教学中开展有关语境的教学是非常必要的。其对于提高大学生英语的沟通交流能力有着至关重要的作用。因而,对于教学方法的制定就成为了广大教育工作者的首要研究方向。该文首先阐述了课题的背景,然后认为必须在认识上重视语境教学的重要性,最后对教学方法的改革和完善提出了相关的对策和建议。

At present,the problem of students' lack ability to use English for communication skills is widespread in college English teaching.By consulting a large number of literatures,as well as a summary of the actual teaching experience,I believe that it is highly necessary to develop context teaching in college English teaching.It plays a vital role to the improvement of college students' English communication ability.Thus,the formulation of the teaching methods becomes the primary research direction of the majority of education workers.The background of the topic is expounded atfirst,and then the importance of understanding the context teaching is considered necessary to at tach importance to,in the end,the reform and perfect of teaching method has been put forward relevant countermeasures and suggestions.
