目的论作为德国功能翻译理论的核心组成部分,对于指导外宣资料的翻译,实现预设的翻译目的,有着十分积极的理论意义。该文结合目的论,根据目的论的三原则,具体阐述广州亚运会外宣材料中译者为达到翻译目的而采取的不同翻译策略。

As the core theory of the functional translation theory,skopos theory plays a pivotal role in guiding the C-E translation in publicity text and achieving the expected goal.This paper draws on this theory and probes into different strategies in translating the publicity text of the Guangzhou Asian Games.
