美剧《越狱》人物对白的语用学探析

Pragmatic Analysis of the Character Dialogues in Prison Break

语用学中的言语行为理论是要解释说话人是如何通过"言"而达到"行"的目的,合作原则在于揭示说话人是如何表达隐含的意义,从而产生特定的会话含义。英文影视对白中人们对于会话原则的违反,往往使得语言情景逼真自然,人物形象鲜明生动。基于言语行为理论及合作原则分析美剧《越狱》中人物对白,挖掘影视对白背后所表达的会话含义和言外之意,以上两个理论在英语会话中的重要作用也得以验证。

The Speech Act Theory (SAT) in pragmatics is to explain that how speakers do things with words,while the Cooperation Principle(CP) reveals that how speakers express their hidden meanings,and then produce certain conversational implicature.The violation of Cooperative Principle in English movies and soap operas always generate genuine linguistic situations and vivid characters.Through analyzing the dialogues in Prison Break on the basis of SAT and CP,more implied meanings can be understood and the importance of these two principles for English conversations will be verified.
