Blended Learning model combines advantages of the traditional teaching model with the advantages of information teaching model together,which in some way integrates the high technology with course teaching and promotes students’vocational core compe tence as well.Based on Blackboard teaching platform,the blending learning design in the hydraulic engineering English teaching in High Vocational colleges can promote the cultivation of students’ vocational core competency and their practical skills.
