An Empirical Study of Sight Interpretation in Interpreting Teaching of Undergraduate English Majors

视译即边看边译,排除了口译过程中的听力干扰,能够强化大脑对所接受信息的处理,是口译中的重要训练手段。将视译训练引入口译教学,可以有效地训练口译中的信息捕捉、拆分、重组和输出等能力,尤其可以提高学生对句子的处理能力,从而为提高学生的口译技能打下坚实的基础。因此,对口译教学中的视译训练进行实证探索可以为口译学习者尤其是初学者提供有效的训练方法。

Sight interpretation is to read the materials and at the same time to interpret them into the target language.As an important way of training interpretation,it can strengthen the process of received information.To introduce sight interpretation in interpreting teaching can improve the students’ ability of maintaining information,splitting the information,reconstructing the information and producing the information.An empirical study of sight interpretation in interpreting teaching of undergraduate English majors can provide efficient meth ods for interpreting learners especially the beginners.
