摘要
As Constructivist theory is applied into lexical processing in teaching of college English reading, understanding word meaning should be seen as a reconstruction rather than a transmission of knowledge. Teachers should set up linguistic environment where students as sociate what they are learning with previous experience, and accomplish the construction of meaning in collaborative circumstance.
