摘要
电影海报是宣传影片、增加票房收入的重要手段之一,观众阅读海报的过程实际上是解码一种包括了图像、文字、色彩等元素的多模态语篇的过程。系统功能语言学和视觉语法分析框架为电影海报的多模态话语分析提供了理论基础。以《泰坦尼克号》(3D版)首款海报为例,从再现意义、互动意义和构图意义三个方面进行分析解读,旨在进一步探讨图像作为社会符号如何与语言共同作用,同时以期提高读者的多模态识读能力。
Movie posters are designed to publicize the movies and boost the bill-office receipts.To read a movie poster is to decode a multimodal discourse which contains a variety of semiotic factors such as image,word,and color.Systemic Functional Linguistics and Visual Grammar have provided the theoretical basis for multimodal analysis.The first movie poster of Titanic(3D) is taken as an example to be analyzed from three aspects:the representational meaning,the interpersonal meaning and the compositional meaning.It aims to find out how images as social semiotic work together with words and to improve readers'multiliteracies.
