摘要
随着我国对英语教育重视程度的提高,越来越多的词汇学习软件、学习工具也应运而生。但是这些辅助工具的实用性还有待证明。该文以"考试单词全记牢"教程为例,结合相关的二语习得理论来探讨该词汇学习软件在辅助二语词汇习得过程中的利与弊,并探讨符合中学生的一些二语词汇习得策略。研究发现该学习软件在联想记忆、词汇意义化、运用多种器官识记单词等方面都有明显的优点;但对单词拆分以及单词意义的理解存在不合理性。笔者认为可通过字母组合的规则、实物辅助、语块以及语境等语言规律更高效地掌握和学习词汇。
Along with more attention paid to English learning,a growing number of software or tools for English-learning come into view.However,the usefulness of these tools remains to be proven.This paper will take one of these as an example,that is,the'Keep All the Test Words in Mind',in combination with some theories in Second Language Acquisition,to discuss the advantages and disadvantages of this tutorial in assisting Second Language Acquisition.After the discussion,this paper continues to make a further exploration on the accepted vocabulary acquisition strategies for middle school students.By analyzing this software,the authors find it has the advantage in associative memory,lexical meaning and the use of many different organs to memorizing the new words,while it is also unreasonable in the aspect of words separation and understanding the meaning of words.Thus,language rules like the combination of words,object-aided,language chunks and context are proposed in this paper to make the learner master and study the vocabulary more efficiently.
