摘要 This thesis talks about the lexical features of News English from seven respects.The words in News English are very plentiful.There are vivid and graphic oral words,midget words,abbreviated words,borrowed words,loanwords,euphemisms and many other new words.Studying these words is a good way to master the rhetorical skills of News English.
