试论大学英语教学中的英美文学渗透

On English and Amercian Literature Infiltration in College English Teaching

为了实现大学英语的教学目标,有必要对非英语专业学生进行英美文学渗透。大学英语教材体现出编者的英美文学渗透意识,此为前提条件。英美文学渗透的必要性和重要性主要体现如下:提高学生的人文素养,推行素质教育;加深学生对英美文化的了解,促进跨文化交际;培养学生的文艺鉴赏能力,推行通识教育。教师在教学实践中应有意识地对学生进行英美文学渗透,以培养出具备综合素养的大学生。

It is of great necessity to infiltrate English and American literature into non-English majors to realize the teaching objectives of college English.The college English textbooks reflect the editors'consiousness of English and American literarature infiltration,which can be considered as a precondition.The necessity and significance of English and American literature infiltration are as follows:to improve students'humanities quality to carry out quality-oriented education,to deepen students'understanding of English and American culture to promote cross-cultural communication,and to cultivate students'ability of appreciating literature and art to carry forward general education.College English teachers should have the awareness of infiltrating Enlish and American literature into students during the teaching practice so as to cultivate students'comprehensive quality.
