以《德伯家的苔丝》的故事梗概为源头,从原著作者的创作思想以及创作意图的角度剖析了苔丝短暂一生的悲惨遭遇,并结合作者所描述了场景分析了当时的社会环境、道德制度、性格特征对苔丝悲剧命运造成的影响。苔丝悲剧中,她的每一次看是偶然却是必然的转折,都使她向毁灭的深渊坠落一层。这些都是许多社会必然性与自然必然性的交叉点,但一连串的必然性正是作者揭发批判资本主义社会黑暗的艺术手段。

Taking the storyline of'Tess of the d'Urbervilles'as the source,the analysis of Tess's brief miserable life was made from the author's creation intention and creative aspects.By analyzing the scene of social environment,moral system,character of Tess which were described in the novel,the influence to Tess's tragic fate were deducted.Every inevitable turning arranged by author in Tess's tragedy which seemed accidentally,made Tess to destroy the abyss fall layer.These were cross points of many social and natural necessities,and a series of inevitabilities were also the art means which author used to expose and criticize the capitalist society dark.
