The Value of“Performed Culture”Pedagogy in Tourism English Teaching

旅游英语专业要求学生能够进行跨文化的交际,即"体演"相应的外国文化,而且这种"体演"是建立在对西方文化的深入了解基础之上的。该文从三个方面,即文化差异的分析、跨文化交际能力的培养、以及"体演文化"的基础理论及其在旅游英语教学中运用的现实意义等三个方面提出了自己的观点。

In order to communicate with foreigners successfully,learners of tourism major should'perform'the culture on the base of one's experience of target culture.This paper attempts to justify the idea in three aspects:culture difference analysis,cross-culture communication competence cultivating,theory o'fPerformed Culture'pedagogy and its value in tourism English teaching.
