Cultural Transfer in Complaints Pragmatic Acquisition

语用迁移是语用习得过程中重要的跨文化交际现象,目前主要是通过言语行为展开研究。抱怨在人类交际中是一种威胁听话人面子的言语行为,来自不同文化的人受社会变量的影响不同,采用的表达模式不尽相同。对比中美文化间的差异,可了解中国学习者是如何受文化迁移影响而实施抱怨语的。深化对抱怨语行为中文化迁移的研究,有助于恰当使用抱怨策略,提高英语学习者的语言应用能力,并对英语教学和跨文化交际产生了一些启示。

Pragmatic transfer is an important cross-cultural influence in the process of SLA.It's studied mainly from a certain speech act.Complaint is a face-threatening speech act which threatens the face of the hearer in the human communication activi ties.People from different cultural backgrounds are influenced by different social variables,and thus adopt different expression pat terns.Comparing the cultural differences between Chinese and American can reflect how do Chinese EFL learners use the speech act of complaint influenced by cultural transfers.Therefore,understanding the underlying cultural transfers will be helpful in em ploying complaint strategies appropriately,developing English learners'ability to perform speech acts and providing some helpful suggestions to English leaning and teaching,as well as cross-cultural communication.
