Critics from home and abroad have studied The Old Man and The Sea from the perspectives of iceberg theory,trage dy consciousness,etc.Recently,with the worsening of global environment,people begin to reread the work from the perspective of ecoliterature.The author tries to dig out the ecological consciousness of reconstructing the harmonious relationship between man and nature by ecocriticism,focusing on the interaction between the old man and nature.
