摘要
通识教育的目的是使学生得到全面、健康的发展。大学英语作为一门人文性与工具性相结合的课程的特点使其在实施通识教育中起重要作用。而作为课程载体的大学英语教材存在过于注重语言技能和实用知识的传授而忽视对大学生人文素质及综合素质的培养的现实问题。该文从通识教育的视角,从教材的二次开发和整合的理论入手,以该校学生所选用的上海外语教育出版社出版的《新世纪大学英语视听说》教材为例,探讨教材的二次开发和整合在实施通识教育中的必要性和可持路径。
Nowadays,general education has become a new trend that most Chinese Universities are faced with.Placing College English teaching under the big background of general education,we can cultivate students'English language proficiency as well as enrich their comprehensive humane knowledge based on the theory of material redevelopment.This thesis is aimed at exploring new approaches of realization of general education in college English teaching in China from a new perspective.
