STCW78/10公约实施背景下的航海英语教学策略——以无限航区船长英语考试培训为例

Maritime English Teaching Strategy in the Context of the Implementation of STCW 78/10—Exemplified by the Un limited Ocean-going Shipmaster's English Examination Training

英语是国际航运界的工作语言,STCW78/10公约的实施对管理级船员的英语水平提出了更高的要求。文章针对我国海事主管机关对船长英语考证要求的变化进行了认真分析,在此基础上,结合个人在船长英语教学工作中的实践经验,从课程体系、教学方法、题库建设和写作指导四个方面提出了应对策略。

English is the working language for the international shipping industry.A higher requirement has been raised as a consequence of the implementation of the STCW78/10.This paper gave a careful analysis of the change to the requirement of shipmaster's maritime English Examination.On the basis of the analysis,the author raised corresponding countermeasures with reference to personal teaching experience.
