很多高职院校英语教学模式偏重于语言本身,课堂上往往是以教师为中心,忽略学生英语听说能力,尤其是在职场环境下的交际能力的培养。实用英语口语技能大赛对高等职业教育及人才培养具有指导作用。借助口语大赛的平台,构建英语3M课程体系,课内外实施以学生为主体的教学模式,激发学生的学习兴趣,提高学习效率,培养学生自主学习能力和英语应用能力,培养学生英语综合素质。

The English teaching model in many vocational colleges focuses on the language itself, ignoring students’English lis?tening and speaking ability, especially communicative ability in the workplace environment. Practical oral English contests play a guiding role in vocational education and personnel training. With the platform of oral English contests, 3M (modules) curriculum system is built, student-centered teaching model implemented both inside and outside the class. Students’interest in learning English, their learning efficiency, autonomous learning ability, practical competence, and comprehensive quality are improved and developed.
