摘要
"化境"说由上世纪60年代钱锺书提出,之后翻译界对其进行了大量理论研究。该文试图选取三种常见的文学体裁(小说、散文和诗歌),采用实例分析的方法,着重探讨达到"化境"译文的表征、实现"化境"可能采取的翻译策略以及各种翻译策略的得与失。通过这项研究,笔者希望能进一步挖掘"化境"说的潜在价值,促进其在具体文学翻译实践中的应用。
Since it was put forward by Qian Zhongshu, the notion of“sublimation”has aroused heated discussion in the academ?ic circle of translating. And a large number of theoretical researches have been conducted in a succession. The present thesis at?tempts to probe into the characteristics of translations crowned as“sublimated translations”and summarize feasible strategies for the pursuit of“sublimation”as well as the concomitant gain and loss through the analysis of translation examples representing three common literary genres-novel, prose and poetry. The author hopes to further explore the potential value of the notion of“sublimation”and promote its application into practice through this study.
