Movie is an art and a commodity as well.With the opening of the Chinese market,we have more English movies.The translation of movie titles must be accurate and embody the commercial values.As the huge differences between two kinds of culture,language in the film titles translation,how to do to "faithfulness,expressiveness,elegance?" For various types of Eng lish movie titles translation,several principles should be obeyed.After the analysis of the current problems and principles of transla tion of English movie titles,the translation skills are summarized.
