评价一部文学作品有很多种方法,在当今各学科相互融合的背景下,从文体学的角度来阐释无疑是可行的。《恋恋笔记本》,这部被改编成电影、《纽约时报》排行榜上的畅销书,美国畅销小说作家尼古拉斯·斯帕克思的代表作,是否能被称为世界文学名著呢?18世纪兴起的浪漫主义运动在文体学理论上主要反映为作家决定论。通过在作家决定论的理论框架下对其进行分析,可以得出其令人称道之处,同时指出其不足。它的确是一部不是名著的名著。
There are many ways of interpreting a literary work,and in the context of the merging of different disciplines nowadays,it is undoubtedly feasible to do it within a stylistic perspective.Can The Notebook,representative of American bestselling writer Nicholas Sparks,which has been adapted to a movie,and also a bestseller on the ranking list of New York Times,be called world classic? The main reflection of the Romantic Movement which sprang up in the 18th century on the stylistic theories is writer determinism theory.The popularness as well as some shortcomings of The Notebook can be revealed after careful analysis of it under the frame work of writer determinism theory.It can be concluded that it is indeed a non-classic classic.
