Due to the unavoidable limitation of traditional classroom teaching, it’s quite necessary to develop English extra-curricular activities to improve the quality of university English teaching. The paper introduces the necessity and different forms of extra-curricular activities with the purpose of improving students’ability to use English and training them into fully-developed talents to adapt to the development of age.
