The paper is to explore the English Metaphysical ideas reflected in Anne bradstreet's first poetry The Tenth Muse Lately Sprung Up in America. The whole paper is devided into three parts , the first part is to introduce English Metaphysical ideas and Anne's first and only published poetry before death,The second one is to analyze the reflection of the English Metaphysical ideas in Anne's first poetry in terms of the themes, the images and the rhetorical devices of the poetry. the last one is the conclusion of the essay .
