Through detailed analysis of Violet’s self-salvation from the perspectives of identity loss, emotion dilemma and spiritu?al salvation, with textual analysis, this article tries to interpret Morrison’s reflections on black female’s subject construction and of?fers readers a better understanding of the black culture.
