摘要
该文以问卷调查和个人访谈相结合的形式,对西北民族大学2011级研究生的英语自主学习情况从英语水平、教学目的与要求的了解情况、确立学习目标、制定学习计划四个方面进行了调查。结果表明,他们英语自主学习能力普遍偏低,长期以来传统的教学方法没有使学生形成自主学习的习惯。该文在分析其原因的基础上提出了教师要不断提高自身素质修养和专业水平,学生要有意识地培养自主学习能力。
The purpose of the study is to investigate the learner autonomy among postgraduates from Northwest University for Nationalities. A survey and interview have been conducted to find out factors facilitating or hindering students’autonomy learn?ing. It is surveyed from English level, understanding teaching aim and requirement, establishing learning goals to developing learn?ing plan. The result is that the learner autonomy among postgraduates is generally low, the teachers are taken as the center in tra?ditional English teaching and in the dominant position, ignoring the cultivation of students' autonomous learning ability. The au?thor analyzes the problems and puts forward a challenge to teachers and students.
