摘要
英语教学是一门实践性很强的学科,其主要的教学目标是培养学生听、说、读、写、译等语言能力。听说是人们进行交流的首要形式,尤其是对于英语专业的大学生而言,听说能力的优劣有可能直接影响到其能否正常就业。对于零起点开始学英语的少数民族英语专业的大学生来说,只有找到适合他们的教学方法,师生共同合作才能达到理想的教学效果。该文作者结合自己所教授的英语专业民族本科生听力课程的教学实践,来探讨听说教学法在提高学生英语听力及口语表达方面能力的应用。教学实践表明:良好的听说教学法的应用有利于鼓励学生参与语言实践,提高他们的英语应用能力。
English teaching is a subject with high degree of practice.It aims at training students'ability of listening,speaking,reading,writing and translating.While listening and speaking ability is the primary form for people to communicate with others,especially for those English majors,if they can not grasp the essence of English learning,it may be a tough problem for them to graduate smoothly.For those fundamental minority English learners,teachers have to find some most proper teaching approach and cooperate perfectly with their students.Only can this help improve students'capacity of using English.In this paper,the au thor attempts to discuss the application of audio-lingual approach used in improving minority student's English comprehensive proficiency according to practical class teaching in Xinjiang region.
