摘要
作为专业性和权威性都十分突出的官方文献,航空事故/事故征候(A&I)报告的翻译难点之一在于其大量的半专业词汇及表达方式。文章对相应的难点做了简单介绍与分析,并结合对SKYbrary航空事故/事故征候报告中的实例研究,总结出了一些有效的翻译策略。
Accidents and Incidents (A&I) reports are typically characterized with a wealth of technical terms as well as many semi-technical ones. It is noted that technical terms are gaining more attention in the realm of scientific translation, while the semi-tech terms, which appear to have been neglected for a time, have been composing the more challenges in the area of civil avia?tion. Therefore, the present author attempts to provide a translational perspective in terms of this issue.
