跨文化视角下林语堂《吾国与吾民》中的中国英语研究

Research on the Chinese-English in Lin Yutang's My Country and My People——from the Prospective of Cross-Culture

该文以《吾国与吾民》为个案,以目的论为指导,结合林语堂著译的根本动机,通过对作品在词汇,句子和篇章三个层面所体现的中国英语现象进行分析,探讨其中国英语的表达方式、运用策略和现实意义,进而揭示了林语堂如何通过他独具风格的中国英语成功实现了中国文化的跨语际传播。

Based on the Skopos Theory, this paper takes Lin Yutang’s My Country and My People as a case study and analyzes the China English representing in this work from the aspects of vocabulary, sentence and discourse. Considering Lin’s true mo?tive, the present paper explores the language expression, application strategy and realistic meaning of China English used in the prose, thus illuminating the success of Lin’s inter-lingual dissemination of Chinese culture by utilizing China English of his unique style.
