摘要
A distinction between two terms: SLA (second language acquisition) and FLA (foreign language acquisition) has been made with the purpose of clarifying these two related terms and providing pedagogical implications into EFLT (English as a foreign language teaching) in China. Three aspects have been taken into consideration to reveal the differences between SLA and FLA, namely the learning context, motivation and cultural perspectives.
