英汉强调句型的认知对比分析

Cognitive Contrastive Analysis of English and Chinese Emphatic Pattern

强调句型或分裂句在英语中一直被许多学者关注,对此的相关研究也颇多。而汉语语言学家一开始认为汉语中没有强调句,但渐渐大家都同意汉语中是存在这种句型的。对于英汉强调句的研究,以前多是从句法、语义和语用等角度来分析,而这项研究是在前人研究的基础之上,主要采用认知凸显观的图形背景理论分析这两种语言,以此来探讨英汉强调句在凸显方式上的相似和区别。

English emphatic pattern or cleft sentence has attracted many scholars’attention and the related analysis is no less. While Chinese linguists state that there is no such kind syntax, but gradually they agree that this kind of syntax actually exists in Chinese. But previous studies on both languages mainly focus on syntactic, semantic and pragmatic perspective. Based on these studies, this study adapts a new theory-Figure and Ground theory, which belongs to prominence view-to make a contrast be?tween two languages in order to find the similarity and difference in the way of prominence.
