高职院校基础英语与专业英语融合式教学探究

Study on Teaching Methods for Combination of Higher Vocational Basic English and ESP

高职英语教学中,基础英语教学是打好语言的基础,而专业英语教学是将所学的英语得到实际的应用。在教学上,二者既有着共同之处,又有着显著的区别。而在大多数高职院校中,普遍存在着基础英语和专业英语教学"各自为政"的单项教学。该文试图从基础英语和专业英语教学存在的问题上,从教学方法,教学模式及师资方面入手,对基础英语和专业英语教学进行有效融合。从而全面提高高职院校英语教学质量。

Currently, higher vocation English teaching usually employs the separated teaching system of English for Special Pur?pose (ESP), which result in that most majority graduates fail to apply English to working practice. This paper points out the necessi?ty of the combination of basic English and ESP. This not only can fully improve the advantages of two teaching methods, but also can entirely achieve the goals of higher vocational education.
