英语专业一年级学生听力与阅读理解的难点、原因及对策

摘要 采用定量与定性相结合的方法对英语专业一年级学生的听力与阅读理解能力进行了调研。结果发现受试在听力与阅读理解部分的得分率均未达到及格的要求。听力方面,受试对录音材料字面意思的理解上得分率最低;阅读方面,快读部分的得分率仅为28.55%。究其原因,问卷结果显示主要涉及到自身能力、努力程度、方法、任务难度四个因素。对此,调研者提出了相应的对策。 This study investigates the abilities of English freshmen in listening and reading comprehension by the way of qualita?tive and quantitative methodology. The findings show that the students have failed to pass in both listening and reading comprehen?sion, with the lowest grade in understanding the literal meaning of what is said (46.37) and in skimming and scanning reading (28.55%), to which the reasons attributed by the students themselves are mainly related to ability, effort, methods, and task difficul?ty. Correspondingly, the investigators give some suggestions for improvement.
