With the development of modern information technology, multimedia courseware is widely used in college English teaching. It can stimulate the interest of students and develop their ability of imagination and creativity, making students the subject of learning. Both teachers and students benefit from it and thus achieve the best teaching effectiveness. In this paper, the application of multimedia courseware in college English will be explored from the advantages a of multimedia courseware teaching. The author also gives some reasonable solutions.
