摘要
认知科学的发展使人们可以从认知的角度去研究英语教学问题。利用认知语言学的理论指导英语教学,探索认知语言学的原型范畴理论对英语词汇学习尤其是多义词学习的指导作用。指出词汇教学应该重视基本范畴词汇并注重词汇的原型意义的讲授,遵循认知规律,科学有效地习得英语词汇。
English teaching problems can be studied from the perspective of cognitive because of the development of cognitive sci?ence. English Teaching also can be guided by using of the theory of cognitive linguistics. The guiding role of prototype category the?ory of cognitive linguistics can be explored in English vocabulary learning and polysemy words learning especially. The research shows that vocabulary teaching should pay more attention to the basic category vocabulary and the significance of the prototype of vocabulary, follow the laws of cognition and learn English vocabulary scientifically and effectively.
